Presidents Club

If you are selling in the region of £300-£350 per campaign, you are in with a good chance of reaching President’s club!!!

Being a member of President's Club has its privileges, which entitle you to exclusive benefits throughout the year. You will be invited to a Gala Dinner to celebrate your success and will also have the chance to attend the mid-year Recognition Lunches. In addition, you will have the opportunity to qualify for Avon’s Top 50, all expenses paid, holiday abroad.

Tips to increase your earnings.

  • Remember to use your FROGS – see if any of the people you know will network for you, either showing their friends and family or taking a book to work
  • Try local businesses, shops, dentists, post offices, etc.  The staff there may not have an Avon rep!
  • Try placing a notice in your local shop announcing you are an Avon rep and if people would like to see a brochure, give you a call.
  • Remember to re-canvass your area regularly.  This means once you have established your customer base, serve your customers first every campaign and every couple of campaigns, go to the houses inbetween and try and find new customers!!

A guide to returning products

  1. Gather together the products you wish to return and the relevant invoices, highlighting those products for ease if necessary.
  2. Use EITHER the back page of the customer paper order form, fast track phone 0845 345 8222 or the request a credit section of your website, fill in the relevant brochure number, product number, quantity and reason code e.g. 08 unable to collect money. These codes can be found on the back page of your returns book.
  3. Package up your goods, remembering to fill in your returns book. Remember to fill in your price, this is what the goods cost you and is found on your invoice. Stick a barcoded label on the parcel, writing the last 4 digits of the barcode in your returns book. Put one copy of the returns sheet in with the package and keep the other for the delivery driver to stamp.
  4. If you do not send your goods back to Avon, either because you managed to sell them or another reason, Avon will recharge you for those products.  If you still want to send them back after being recharged, you will have to apply for credit again!!

Top Tips and Tricks for April!
*To save from having to buy campaign brochures for all of your customers every campaign, split your customer-base in two: one half gets the most recent campaign catalogue and the other half gets the last campaign catalogue, which can be backordered from. It saves lots of money and the customers still get a constant series of catalogues, just one half is always a catalogue behind. So they all get the chance to see all of Avon's deals and offers!
*Put 2 or 3 order forms in the books and ask your customers to show them around, offer customer an incentive to find you new customers
*If you have special customers, ones that spend £30 or so every camp, really look after them. Give these customers a % off or a freebie now and then, ask them to ask around for you, if they love Avon the chances are their sister/mum/best mate will too
* A couple of days before due to deliver customers products, drop a note through their door reminding them when their products will be delivered and how much they owe. Everyone will be expecting you and they should have the correct money!

Tips and tricks

* Offer your customers a free gift (this can be something on offer in the clearance brochure or special offer in main brochure) for showing their brochure to family, friends, co-workers and taking extra orders for you.

* Flag a special offer in the brochure, e.g. Fragrances Buy 1 get 1 half price.  Let customers know if you have samples so they can try before they buy.

* Use Avon products yourself, people will ask you what your perfume is or where you got your bag or necklace from!

*Remember to use FROGS, talk to people you know and people they know and let them know you are a rep.

* Check your orders against the previous campaign to see if you can save some money.  E.g. a customer may buy a perfume in campaign 4 for £8.00 but if it is £6.00 in campaign 3, you can still back order it.

* Do your own incentives e.g. offer the highest ordering customer a free gift/ all orders over £20 will enter a prize draw to win some Avon goodies.

Starting in the next campaign, the representative with the best sales in February and March will win some Avon goodies!
